Comics are an amazing way to capture moments from life or ideas for stories in illustration and short writing, either to share them with others or to keep as journal entries. In this class, we’ll use traditional media with pencil, pen, ink and paper to sketch and create comics.

Have an idea for a story? Want to develop a memoir comic? Each class we’ll work on one short comic idea and continue a longer project, while also practicing specific techniques for creating interesting panels and combining words and images. Great for folks with a little bit of drawing experience or storycrafting, or for developing ideas.
