Young writers, get ready to go on an exciting exploration with Adventures in Writing Summer Camp!

Wordcrafters Adventures in Writing Summer Camp welcomes young writers to undertake an exciting exploration of the world of writing, storytelling, and creativity. Campers will enjoy a variety-pack of wordcrafts and genres by working with a new author or instructor each day. This camp is intended for young writers ages 11 and up.

Jen Hernandez will lead day 5 of this full week camp with The Secret World of You: Comics for Telling Your Story.

In this workshop, you’ll use your own stories, ideas and pictures to make a comic story about you! We’ll practice how to pick ideas to comic-ize, drawing tips and create one-page comics about our worlds as we see it. Bring your ideas, favorite pictures, and small items for inspiration!
